Bluebonnets 2018
Every spring, in the south east of Texas, the land gets covered by flowers. The “bluebonnets” are expected and enjoyed by the residents and the turists.
We went, searching for them, even though spring had just started…
We got to Marble Falls, near Austin….
It is said that, thanks to the job to beautify the place, that the Wife of president Johnson, as First Lady (1963-1969) did, these huge grassland are still everyone’s delight.
The Bluebonnet was declared the flower of the state of Texas in 1971.
Simply Beautiful!!
